This path, with 2 possible loops, is marked out in a wild universe and is a total break regarding urban spaces. It offers you all kinds of landscapes: old slate quarries and industrial heritage, the Authion river, parks and gardens and built heritage.
- The Parc des Ardoisières in Trélazé with its small hills, old lands and headframes, has been restructured from an old slate quarry.
- The Musée de l’ardoise (slate museum) permits discovering the extraction methods evolution and slate cracking demonstration.
- The Parc de Pignerolle in Saint-Barthélemy d’Anjou is a good example of the French art of living. The landscape atmosphere of the château, built in 1776 on 80 ha, has been realised in accordance with the elegance and architectural balance of the château.
