From the plateau of Marcillé to the towing
The area has many superb routes through a variety of surroundings from forests to vineyard hillsides.
With several outstanding circuits, there’s every reason to go walking in the Angers area. Among the top places to walk in Anjou is the Basses Vallées Angevines area, one of the most beautiful wetland regions in Europe. On no account should you miss a walk along the banks of the Loire either – you’ll see wildlife and plant life on your way.
Walking with kids? Take the small ferry across to the surprising Ile St. Aubin where a unique ecosystem awaits.
As part of the plan to tackle the Coronoavirus COVID19 epidemic, all non-essential public venues must close. The Convention Centre, Exhibition Park and the Tourist Office will therefore be closed to the public until further notice. Destination Angers will do everything it can to support you in view of this exceptional situation.
You can contact the Tourist Office by email at email@example.com.
