Domaine Cady

Wines ,  Producer in Val-du-Layon
  • At Domaine Cady, we have been growing wine since 1927. Today our wine estate covers 28 hectares in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon appellation and is fully certified organic.
Thanks to the rich geology of the Anjou region and its unique climate, we are able to offer a wide range of wines representing the region’s different AOCs (Anjou blanc and rouge, Coteaux du Layon, Premier Cru Chaume, Anjou Villages, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d’Anjou, Crémant de Loire).

At Domaine Cady, we have been growing wine since 1927. Today our wine estate covers 28 hectares in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon appellation and is fully certified organic.

We harvest our grapes by hand over several weeks to ensure that each variety is picked at optimum ripeness and according to the desired style of wine.
Our emblematic variety is of course Chenin Blanc, which is planted on our hillsides of schist, overlooking the Layon river. Its remarkable versatility allows us to produce dry, sweet and sparkling white wines.
For the reds, Cabernet Franc is the main variety. From it, we produce both fresh and easy-drinking wines and powerful red wines intended for ageing, as well as dry and medium-sweet rosé.
We keep our interventions in the winery to a minimum and strive to protect biodiversity in the vineyard. Our philosophy is to let the terroir express itself, with a constant focus on quality and the production of fresh, harmonious and balanced wines.
Visitors wishing to discover our wines and our beautiful region are very welcome.
