  • Opposite the island of Saint-Aubin, here is a walk that lets you discover the banks of the Sarthe as well as the fauna and flora typical of the Lower Anjou Valleys. The landscapes of moors and woods, peppered with ponds surrounded by broom, offer the perfect setting for long walks.

    Opposite the island of Saint-Aubin, here is a walk that lets you discover the banks of the Sarthe as well as the fauna and flora typical of the Lower Anjou Valleys. The landscapes of moors and woods, peppered with ponds surrounded by broom, offer the perfect setting for long walks.

    • The Pass'Sarthe ferry across the Sarthe between Écouflant and Cantenay-Épinard will be back in service from 8 May 2024.

    Touristic places
    - The 6 kilometres towing, along the Sarthe river, bears witness of the era of waterway transports with vestiges of old kilometre markers and footbridges.
    - Bathing, idleness and picnics are waiting for you in the Parc des Sablières. You will discover around 600 ha of moors and forests, with ponds surrounded by brooms.
