  • Departing from the Parc Balzac in Angers, a 40 km route is available by bike and crosses outstanding sites, like the Maine river towpath and the Piverdière site in Bouchemaine, giving you a breathtaking view over the low valleys of Angers (one of the most beautiful damp natural regions in Europe).

This loop goes along the Loire river and the Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire gardens, crosses the magnificent slate environment of Trélazé with its unusual nature and old lands converted in wells. Back in Angers, take some time to stroll in the ancient streets, visit the château d’Angers and its treasure: the Apocalypse, enjoy the view on the Maine river from the Promenade du Bout du Monde, before heading to the Parc Balzac.

Come and discover a sweet way of life: Angers’ way of life!
