From Angers, set off on an adventure by bike and discover an exceptional playground between the Loire and the slate. An exploration of 97 km, to be discovered over 2 days, which promises new sensations and sharing.
Road book :
97 km circuit - Mountain bike recommended - Intermediate level - Good physical condition - Very rolling circuit overall with a few small hills to climb and several false flat paths. This route is mainly on paths with mixed gravel and tarmac surfaces. There are a few passages on softer ground near wooded areas.

- The former Convent of La Baumette and the panorama of the Maine
- The confluence of the Loire and the Maine
- Follow the Loire to Port-Thibault, a district of Saint-Gemmes-sur-Loire
- Stop at the guinguette of Port-Thibault and stroll through the Mediterranean Garden
- Cross the town of Les Ponts-de-Cé with its castle and its panorama of the Loire
- Pass by the natural site of the Roche de Mûrs and its exceptional panorama over the Loire
- The Château de Brissac, the highest castle in France (7 storeys), in the heart of the Aubance hillsides
- Join Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire and walk along the Loire for several kilometres
- Cross the Ardoisières park, the former site of the famous Anjou slate quarry
- Follow part of the Anjou loop of the Loire by bike to return to Angers
