It's one of the institutions offering Asian cuisine in Anjou: with its fusion cuisine mixing Thailand and India, Thaï L’Inde has been doing a roaring trade for years. It all started with the meeting between Angkana, a young Thai woman, and Paritosh Gupta, originally from India. At the end of their studies in Angers, the couple opened this restaurant, which brought the meeting of their two culinary cultures to life. In the superb setting of a listed private mansion, on Rue des Deux-Haies a stone's throw from Place du Ralliement, they offer traditional dishes from both countries: pad Thai, Delhi chicken, Massaman beef... The latter being, according to the owners, a perfect example of the fusion between these two gastronomies, since the spices such as cardamom and cinnamon used in its preparation were imported to Thailand by Indian merchants. And on the plate, the result is generous, hearty and delicious!
